Next 23 May, the Moon and Venus, the brightest objects in the night sky, will shine together again at sunset, offering a stunning view. We will share the show live, online: join us from the comfort of your home.

This time, the Moon and Venus will be about 3 degrees apart, and our satellite will “dress” its elegant earthshine: the two brightest wonders of the night will shine together to our delight. Castor and Pollux, the famous, brightest stars of the Twins (Gemini) zodiacal constellation, will be in the same spot of the sky.
The Virtual Telescope Project will share with you this amazing experience, bringing to you this sight in real-time from Italy.
The online, free session is scheduled for 23 May 2023, starting at 21:00 UT.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
