We spotted supernova SN 2024xqt in an anonymous galaxy and here we share our image.
The image above comes from the average of 5, 120-second exposures, unfiltered and unguided, remotely taken with the “Elena” (PlaneWave 17″ + Paramount MEII + SBIG STL-6303E) robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy.
SN 2024xqt is a type Ia supernova, discovered on 10 Oct. 2024. It is hosted in an anonymous galaxy.
