Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS: new image – 13 Nov. 2024
Despite the almost full Moon, we imaged comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS and share here our picture.
The image above comes from the sigma clipping combination of 6, 120-second exposures, remotely taken with the ARTEC250+Paramount ME+C3Pro61000EC robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy, under the darkest skies of the Italian peninsula. The telescope tracked at the motion rates of the comet. Very bright (almost full) Moon on the opposite direction of the sky.
We will continue monitoring C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS as long as possible.
