At Virtual Telescope we imaged comet C/2014 A4 Sonear. This comet reached the perihelion last September.
The image above comes from the average of 6, 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, remotely collected with the PlaneWave 17″+Paramount ME+SBIG STL-6303E robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project. The telescope tracked the target during imaging. We plan further observations in the next weeks.
