Next 11 Apr. 2023, the bright planet Venus will shine less than three degrees from the wonderful Pleiades star cluster. On the same evening, Mercury will be at its easternmost elongation from the Sun. We will share the show live, online: join us from the comfort of your home.

On 11 April, Venus, the brightest object of the night sky after the Moon, will be less than 3 degrees from the Pleiades, one of the most beautiful gems of the deep sky. On the same evening Mercury, the most elusive planet, will be at its easternmost elongation from the Sun. The Virtual Telescope Project will show this amazing cosmic event live, using a special astrograph, providing a spectacular view.
