We imaged again supernova SN 2024iss in PGC 1846725, while it is still slowly climbing its light curve. Our image is below.

The image above comes from the average of five, 120-second exposures, unfiltered and unguided, remotely taken with the C14+Paramount ME+ST8-XME robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy, under very good sky conditions.
We estimated SN 2024iss as bright as mag. 12.5 (unfiltered, R-mags for the reference stars from the Gaia DR2 star catalogue), so this is the brightest value we recorded so far, since its explosion. It is a type II supernova, found at the early stages of its explosion.
We will track this transient as long as possible.
