The Takahashi FSQ-106ED (106/530).

The Takahashi FSQ-106ED f/5 (106/530 mm) unit is a top-quality astrograph, sporting a moderately large field of view (FOV: 2.5 deg. x 1.7 deg.), but with a detailed image scale (1.5”/pixel), truly excellent for outstanding deep-sky imaging. We use a ZWO ASI2600MC Pro one-shot-color camera, completed with a 7-position filter wheel and a rotator. Those instruments are installed on a ZWO ASI AM5N mount.

This astrograph is installed under the southern stars in Cile, in the Atacama desert, under the best starry skies of the planet.

Some applications: the large, extremely corrected field of view makes this instrument just perfect for imaging comets, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.
