Jupiter occultation by the Moon (14 July 2012)
On July 15, 2012, the Moon occulted planet Jupiter. The event was visible from Italy just before dawn. We managed to observe it from the Gianicolo, a very nice part of Rome (Italy) with a nice view on the east direction, where the event was going to show.
We managed to get several images with a 200mm lens, making many shots and time lapses. You can see some of these results on this page.
