Comet C/2015 F3 Swan: 18 May 2015

After a couple of weeks, we decided to image comet C/2015 F3 Swan again, finding it very faint, though visible as a pale ghost of light

The image above comes from the average of ten, 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, remotely collected with the  PlaneWave 17″+Paramount ME+SBIG STL-6303E robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project. The telescope tracked the apparent motion of the comet. The object is the very fuzzy “nebula” at the center of the image.
