We observed again the Orion “Integrity” spacecraft of ARTEMIS II on its way to the Moon, when it was ready to have its flyby with the Moon, less than 24 hours later.

At the time the image was taken, using one of the robotic telescopes of The Virtual Telescope Project located in Manciano (GR), under the darkest skies ion the Italian peninsula, the spacecraft was approximately 377.000 km from the center of the Earth. An extremely bright, 85% Moon was only 10 degrees away, making the effort to capture the spacecraft quite challenging.
