Artemis II, Orion back to the Earth: live observation of the spacecraft in space – 10 April 2026
After its legendary flyby with the Moon, the Artemis II’s Orion spacecraft is now coming back to our home planet. See it live via our robotic telescopes, now that it is almost ready to land!
For the first time since 1972, we flew to the Moon again with Artemis II. Now, its Orion spacecraft is flying back to Earth, bringing the four astronauts who made history. It is almost here, so we will see it from the last time from Europe!
We will try to spot Orion “Integrity” via our robotic telescopes and share the view in real-time with all of you.
Our live feed (originally scheduled a few hours after launch, but cancelled because of the severe weather at our observatory site) is now scheduled for 10 April 2026, starting at 02:45 UTC.
Please keep an eye on this page to learn if changes were made to the plans mentioned above.
