ARTEMIS II’s Orion spacecraft, a new image – 8 April 2026

After its historic flyby with the Moon and its record distance from Earth, we imaged the OrionIntegrity” spacecraft again, here it is our latest picture.

The image above was taken, using one of the robotic telescopes of The Virtual Telescope Project located in Manciano (GR), under the darkest skies ion the Italian peninsula. The Orion spacecraft was approximately 363.000 km from the center of our planet.
