Asteroids 2018 CC and 2018 CB very close encounters: live observing sessions – 6 and 9 Feb. 2019
The just discovered 2018 CC and 2018 CB near-Earth asteroids will both have a very close, but safe encounter with the Earth soon. The Virtual Telescope Project and Tenagra Observatories are ready to show them live, online!

We scheduled the following live streamings, to bring to you the wonder of these fly-by. Please refer to the following timetable:
a) asteroid 2018 CC ( with an estimated size of 13 – 29 meters and coming on 6 Feb. 2018 at 20:11 UTC at 188.000 km from us, about 0.49 lunar distances – source JPL):
live streaming from Arizona, starting on 6 Feb. 2018, at 10:00 UTC;live streaming from Italy, starting on 6 Feb. 2018, at 20:00 UTC, covering the closest approach.
b) asteroid 2018 CB (with an estimated size of 17 – 38 m and coming as close as 70.000 km from us, that is 0.18 lunar distances, on 9 Feb 2018 at 21:44 UTC – source JPL):
