The 2023 Quadrantid meteor shower: online observation – 4 Jan. 2023
Next 4 Jan. the Quadrantid meteor shower will reach its peak of activity and we will share it live, online: join us from the comfort of your home!
* Because of a very hazy sky, this live event was regretfully cancelled *
Next 4 Jan. 2022 the Quadrantid meteors will reach their peak of activity. This year, the almost full Moon will strongly limit the show, but we will do our best to show you the brightest meteors.
At Virtual Telescope we will broadcast the meteor shower live, online, for free. We will share the view of our wide field cameras, to show any potential meteor they will capture.
The online, free session to see the Quadrantid 2023 meteor shower is scheduled for 4 Jan. 2023, starting at 03:00 UT: that is the time of the predicted peak and the very bright Moon will be setting, leaving a reasonably dark sky to spot the Quadrantid meteors.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
