We imaged supernova SN 2025wwk in the NGC 83 elliptical galaxy, admiring the stunning beauty of that cosmic spot. We are pleased to share it with you.

The image above comes from the average of 20, 300-second unfiltered exposures, remotely taken with the the Celestron C14+Paramount ME+SBIG ST-10XME robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project in Manciano, Italy.

SN 2025wwk was discovered on 3 Sept. 2025 and it is a type Ia supernova.

Once we pointed our telescope to that supernova, we were shocked by the absolute beauty of the many galaxies sharing the same spot up there. Below we publish the same image as above, but with labels indicating who is who.
