Supernova candidate PSN J12454418-1050083 in the galaxy MCG -02-33-4 was discovered by the Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey on May 13. A few hours later, the Virtual Telescope confirmed it, as visible from the image above. At the imaging time, the object was still not observed spectroscopically.
