While potentially hazardous asteroid 1998 QE2 continues on its very save route around the Sun, ready to give its show later this month, we are preparing the observing campaign and our online, live coverage of this event.

Above is a chart showing where the asteroid will be around its close passage (31 May 2013 at 20:59 UT), when it will shines at mag. 10.8 or so. Each position is calculated at 00.00 UT of the given day.
