The 13 July 2022 Supermoon: the largest full moon of the year

The July 2022 full Moon, a so-called Supermoon, offered a superb view in Rome, rising above the legendary skyline of the Eternal City. We shared it online with our community and publish here a couple of images.

Every time the full Supermoon is around, we are ready to image it and share the vision with our community. We did so last July the 13rd, when the largest full Moon of the year rose above Rome, offering as always a stunning experience. I managed to take the pictures from Monte Mario hill, offering a nice view on the city.

I used one of my Canon 5D mark IV DSLR bodies with a Canon Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens, both on a sturdy tripod. The imaging gear is visible below.

As always, the view was awesome: I forgot how many times I spotted this show, but I’m always amazed to see it.
