Next 23 Apr. 2023 the Lyrid meteors will reach their peak of activity. This time, the Moon will NOT interfere with the shower, so this is a good year to go.
At Virtual Telescope we will broadcast the meteor shower live, online, for free. We will share the view of our new, allsky camera, providing color images.
The online, free session to see the 2023 Lyrid meteor shower is scheduled for 23 Apr. 2023, starting at 00:30 UT: hopefully, we will capture the peak, predicted at 01:06 UTC.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
