Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon: an image (17 Oct. 2025)
We present here another image of comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon, showing outstanding features in its tail.
The image above comes from the sigma-clipping combination of 6, 120-second exposures, remotely taken with the ARTEC250+Paramount ME+C3Pro61000EC robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy, under the darkest skies of the Italian peninsula.
C/2025 A6 Lemmon looks outstanding, particularly its long (more than 10 degrees) tail. Here we see it spanning for the first 1.8 degrees or so.
