Near-Earth Asteroid 2013 JM22 close approach: online event

The recently discovered asteroid 2013 JM22 will have a close encounter with the Earth next May 16, when it will reach a minimum distance from our planet of a bit less than 8 lunar distances.

The Virtual Telescope Project invites you to spy this about 100 meters large rock live, online, while it will surf the northern spring skies. The online event is scheduled for 15 may 2013, at 20:00 UT.
