The Moon, Jupiter and Taurus meet in the sky: 8 Sept. 2012
It is not rare that, with all the beauties up there, something more special than usual happens in the sky. Early on Sept. 8, 2012, observers can spot the Moon approaching the bright planet Jupiter, while the fascinating stars of Taurus will be all around.
The “meeting” will occur among the Iades, the well-known star cluster in that constellation.
On the following hours, the Moon will approach Jupiter even more. It will be a nice opportunity to take spectacular and easy images to share with friends and star lovers.
Have fun!
