Asteroid 2012 QG42 and a satellite trail ( 11sept2012)
While preparing for a session on asteroid 2012 QG42, a test image was taken with the Planewave 17” unit part of theVirtual Telescope. The asteroid showed as a little trail, while there was a long one left by an artificial satellite, by chance crossing the asteroid trail. Of course, it is only a question of perspective.
