Venus meets the Pleiades: online event – 3 Apr. 2020

Next April, after 8 years, planet Venus will shine among the stars of the Pleiades, one of the most beautiful star clusters out there. It will be a superb show and, of course, the Virtual Telescope will share the Venus-Pleiades conjunction live, online.

While Venus has a conjunction with the Pleiades every year, sometimes – every 8 years – such a meeting is truly special, as the planet shines among the stars of this cluster. Last time it was in 2012, so everything is ready for the new edition of this show.

At Virtual Telescope, we will offer a live feed covering this cosmic event, bringing the beauty of the sky to you, at home. Joining our live feed is absolutely free of charges.

The online, free session to see the Venus-Pleiades is scheduled for 3 Apr. 2020, starting at 17:30 UT.

To join, you just need to enter, at the date and time above, our webTV page here!
