Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS: new image – 25 Apr. 2025

We imaged comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS again, four months after our previous observation: please find our picture here.

The image above comes from the sigma clipping combination of 6, 120-second exposures, remotely taken with the C14+Paramount ME+ST-10XME robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy, under the darkest skies of the Italian peninsula (SQM=21.5). The telescope tracked at the motion rates of the comet.

Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS offered a superb show six months ago; we will continue monitoring it as long as possible.
