Comet C/2011 L4 Pan-STARRS: 11 May 2013
After almost one month since then last visit, the Virtual Telescope imaged comet C/2011 L4 Pan-STARRS again, while it moves away from the Sun.
Above is the average of 14 unfiltered images, remotely taken with the PlaneWave 17 robotic unit, each integrated for 120 seconds, with the Paramount ME mount tracking the apparent motion of the body. The image scale is 1.2″/pixel and the comet shows a very beautiful, large tail, displaying its typical shape.

Very nice image of this comet PANSTARRS ! Is your telescope also equipped with R-Bessel and/or I-Bessel photometric filter ?
best regards,

Dear Erik,
thanks for your comment. Our other robotic unit (C14 on Paramount ME) has photometric filters.
